On the Eve of the Last Day of COP26, There’s Still no Definition of ‘Climate Finance’ — It STILL Can’t be Measured

After three decades of United Nations climate talks, the definition of climate finance still can’t be measured.

A document to be published soon by the UNFCCC and seen by CarrZee says that the Standing Committee on Finance:

Underlines the lack of a multilaterally agreed definition of climate finance and acknowledges that a common definition of climate finance is important to have clarity and to account for the financial flows from developed to developing countries for addressing the climate action of developing countries.
