Governments are giving banks and bond markets even tighter control of economies by setting aside specific government revenues for climate action, defence and health. Ultimately, I’m claiming this as a win because bond vigilantes are making it harder for lawmakers to change laws that need changing, while debt slavery is bad for our kids. Hypothecation of government revenue for climate action might just save the day, so it’s not necessarily all bad.
