Ineos billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe and his minions say this:

Yet …
The problem isn’t UK policy. It’s that other nations have not followed UK policy quickly enough.
This is because of ignorant media like the Telegraph.
So, get a grip, Jim.
Push for a faster global / G20 solution, instead, sir….one that is already coming. One that WIDENS carbon markets, the most cost-efficient climate action for the people, rather than walks them back.
There is a direct link in science between the Telegraph and Ratcliffe fuckery and death from massive floods in Pakistan the past few days. Jim knows this yet seems to care only about the size of his wallet.

Failing Telegraph should stop hiring failing, ignorant industry reporters….who can’t join the dots.
People with no long-term vision for the world should not be eligible for the prize “knight of the realm”.
Carbon taxes are becoming more widespread…eg in Australia.

And carbon markets are now more accepted….because they tax the rich, who have mostly caused the climate crisis. They help redistribute wealth, on a global basis too, potentially.
