I wonder how many people in the Swiss village of Blatten thought it was “woke nonsense” that they should evacuate their implausibly pretty town ?

Maybe it was quite a few of the 300 saved from death.

Yet…brave authorities got the evacuation done. Plus the saved animals.

In America….propagandised townsfolk would have refused to leave ….pulling out firearms to threaten those trying to get them to evacuate to safety.

If only areas of California had shown the same foresight a few months ago.

Had the decision to evacuate been delayed by just a few weeks….many would have died.

The USA, the biggest historical producer of greenhouse gases, is being pressured to pay for loss and damage of others because of its reckless emissions.

Those heat-trapping gases are warming the world and causing catastrophes like this landslide.

Shame, America…and many others.
