The victory by the horse named Journalism (above) this weekend shows real journalists what it will take to win — I substitute a couple of words in this key paragraph by NBC:
Journalism’s victory required a comeback of more than five lengths, an improbable run that required slipping between two horses MULTIPLE PROPAGANDISTS on either side as it entered the backstretch, then furiously making up ground on leaderS Gosger WARPED ALGORITHMS, CORRUPT POLITICIANS AND AIs, never taking the lead until the final strides.
The route was unexpected and challenging — not all that dissimilar to what its trainer had THE WORLD HAS endured since January wildfires ….WHICH SHOULD HAVE MADE PEOPLE WAKE UP.
