Alleged CEO Murderer Positioned as Villain and Hero by Establishment as Reality Beats Netflix: Pictures

Reporting and opinion by Mathew Carr

Dec. 20, 2024 — Some people are even positing that the alleged murderer Luigi Mangione seems to be getting treatment similar to that dished out to a certain historical spiritual leader.

Just some of the many surprising things:

  1. The immediate availability of the murder video footage after the crime, which wasn’t censored
  2. The apparent evidence still on the accused, when he was arrested (the ID used for his NYC stay, reportedly)
  3. The photo opportunities being offered to the press, since his arrest — clearly set up fairly carefully IMO

Another version circulating on What’s App: It signals to me that ‘this is what happens when you mess with a protected person — a CEO’ (crimes against poor people are often ignored); Could this sort of news coverage make other potential perps crave similar infamy? (Gangster culture is rife, after all, and it’s even deployed by governments in history and today.) Sorry I don’t know who took this photo below —

I’m not making this comparison but it is being made — I’m reporting it:

Snip from Jesus Christ Superstar 1973 — circulating on What’s App …not sure who circulated it first in this context

NOTES
*I detest unnecessary violence. All people in power should stop deploying it, wherever possible — so that “the people” don’t begin to think it’s the only way.

*The jury selectors will have their work cut out, here

One comment by an online commentator who I won’t name: “Any decent prosecuting lawyer will have that jury picked clean to the bone. Very good friend of mine is a DA in San Francisco and she relishes the challenge of jury selection. Not a good system I agree, but one that can work in the favour of either case, depending on the quality of counsel.”
