Nov. 27-Dec. 2, 2024 — At London EV Show last week, some China importer-manufacturers of EVs were waiting for the government to authorise them so they can start selling.
Skywell said it could start selling within weeks, if allowed, according to a person familiar.
Its BE11 model is priced at £39,995, about half the Tesla Model X.
Will the UK impose new tariffs on China makers?
In a sign of China-US collaboration, the vehicle has Apple CarPlay, (+ a seven-year warranty and maximum range of 401 miles.)
Test drives are already available…I was told.

Mainstream press in Britain seems to be playing up the notion that the UK needs to choose between the EU and the U.S.
PM Starmer is taking a lead from India and refusing to choose. Good on him.
