The short answer is …Carlson can show the world how both the US and Russia are remarkably similar reckless climate killers (or perhaps not so similar in some surprising ways — Russia as the good guy? Russia won the second world war for Europe perhaps even more than the US did?).
US voters will then be less likely to want to finance continued war.
