By Mathew Carr

Ambassador Wael Aboulmagd, special representative of the COP27 president, speaks at press conference in Sharm.

Various negotiation streams at UN climate talks are coming together, he said.

The 9am Friday COP27 overarching document — people were not happy with it, he said.

“I don’t think we have much to worry about.”

I would take an end date for COP27 talks of Monday [three days late] if it means a meaningful outcome, he said.

CarrZee comment: Egypt does not seem to understand what is about to hit it.
