Trump gets desperate over Venezuela as EU-South America-Africa Union collaboration to isolate USA

Opinion by Mathew Carr

Dec. 2, 2025 — President trump appears desperate over Venezuela as EU trade deal with Mercosur countries in South America and Europe’s cooperation with Africa threatens to leave the USA isolated globally.

I sense this “potential invasion” is yet another “false flag” by Mr Trump to create fear and distract from America’s money grabbing.

Or perhaps Trump is secretly pushing the world together….and simply wants Venezuela back into Mercosur….so there can be a global deal to improve trade and climate action (I wish).

The entire month of December 2025 is critical for the EU-Mercosur deal, with several steps needed for its progression (see notes, too):

  • EU Parliament Vote on Safeguards: Expected around mid-December.
  • EU Member State Vote on Agreement: Expected between December 16-19.
  • Formal Signing: Brazilian President Lula da Silva expects the agreement to be signed at the Mercosur summit on December 20 in Brasília. (google)

The EU is simultaneously stepping up cooperation with Africa and BRICS nations ex Russia.
