Billionaires are tricking the people into hating something (digital ID) that would be bad …for billionaires

Opinion by Mathew Carr

The thing about digital ID is that it would be very bad for billionaires.

Digital ID would allow society to know who is hurting nature the most (billionaires), who is damaging the climate (billionaires), who is creating poverty and injustice (billionaires), who is exploiting bad law market structures for their own personal gain (billionaires), who is dodging tax (billionaires), who is trampling on human rights (billionaires).

If billionaires were required to use their digital ID when lobbying against better law to create a more sustainable world, society would know!

Result!

The upshot of this logic is that everyone should indeed be against digital ID for themselves, except those who have assets of more than ….say $10 million …. should be required to obtain digital ID in all 200 nations on earth.

Every very rich person SHOULD be required to have digital ID to help make the world a better place. Surely rich people want the earth to be a better place, right?

The purpose of this law would not be to punish the entrepreneurial types. I agree those people should be rewarded and should be allowed to become wealthy.

The purpose would be to make sure that wealth created is made in a sustainable fashion … for society as well as the wealth “creators”.
