Marine (blue) carbon is also in the frame + forests

Carrzee: This 2035 document is intriguing because it sets out a 2035 framework and that means something even more exciting could have been semi agreed for 2030 and the two countries are just not wanting to talk about that today.
India is a crucial country in the climate and trade matrix. That’s because it has very low historical emissions compared with its very large population.
This deal between India and the UK also indicates that there might be scope for agreement between the emerging and the developed countries by the end of 2025 on climate and trade.
Remember, the UK is a proxy for the US.
Trade-carbon-property nexus
Trump is anti woke because he is trying to create opportunities for US interests for trade and to buy woke properties for knock-down prices.
Woke property might include that which benefits from climate action, such as for use to boost co2 absorption, renewables, hydrogen production, forest enhancement.
This has already been going on for years….with land grabs in Africa, Gaza, UK, etc.
Higher interest rates were designed to encourage otherwise reluctant sellers to sell. (Eg governments, local councils).
This is a sinister form of secret and undemocratic privatisation.
India, beware.
