July 21, 2025 — EU considers retaliation in President Donald Trump’s trade war by preparing digital services levies, according to the Financial Times.

Other countries around the world will consider this logical way to boost government revenue and claw back tax revenue lost to Ireland and the US.

Trump’s tariffs are about to backfire.

America’s social media giants + Amazon + Netflix + Uber (etc) are vastly overvalued in the market because — by definition — it’s very easy to switch away from online companies. They are mere middle men (like the banks are too).
