New Development Bank raises funds both from its members and from other international markets. One source of funds is the issuance of bonds in local currencies, in line with the strategy of diversifying into other forms of transactions in addition to the dollar.
The institution’s strategic cycle for the period 2022-2026 foresees an investment target of 30 billion dollars, $12 billion of which will be for climate.
