Opinion and reporting by Mathew Carr
June 30-July 1, 2025 *— The Big Beautiful Bill (BBB) is probably the most corrupt law attempted in world history.
Donald Trump himself promised to never pass such BBB legislation again after endorsing a stacked and jacked law in this first term.
The corruption the BBB stokes, against the world’s people, is institutional at least. if not sheer racketeering.
The RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations) Act is a US federal law designed to combat organized crime by targeting “criminal enterprises.” It makes it illegal to acquire, operate, or receive income from an enterprise through a “pattern of racketeering activity,” which involves committing at least two specified crimes (like fraud, extortion, or murder) within a 10-year period. Beyond severe criminal penalties, RICO also allows for civil lawsuits by those harmed by such activity, enabling them to recover triple damages.
pattern of underlying crimes (racketeering activity)
US RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations) Act (18 U.S.C. §§ 1961-1968) should prevent what’s going on in congress right now.
In essence: RICO allows prosecutors (and private plaintiffs) to target the structure of ongoing criminal organizations (“enterprises”) by proving a pattern of underlying crimes (“racketeering activity”), leading to severe penalties including imprisonment, massive forfeiture, and (in civil cases) triple damages.
The structure in this case includes the world’s biggest corporations from Alphabet /Google to ExxonMobile, the BBB is designed to extend the racket ….which has been ongoing for 80 years.
The Israel-US killing in Gaza is designed to turn attention away from the racket. That’s a motivation for murder.
The anti-climate element of the Big Beautiful Bill is directly against the interests of the world’s people. It is continued theft of the rest of the world’s carbon budget.
Semafor:

I can’t shake the feeling i helped China evade US criticism … see this from 2020
Pushing down the value of sustainability, while exploiting polluting industries for huge cash piles …is clearly a big part of the global racket.
Extortion is when the USA helps start a war in Ukraine (creates a violent problem) then threatens to withdraw mafia- like “protection”…ie America extorted western taxpayers to get “protection money”… to get trillions of dollars in money for NATO ….(to me, that’s clearly one of the corrupt structures making the system into a racket, and so prosecutable under RICO.)
To be clear, the racket is against ordinary taxpayers.
AI/social media companies are trying to introduce law in the BBB to ban their own regulation! Wtf?
That is part of the racket.
Let’s look at the Covid ‘pandemic’ ….which appears to be partly an attempt to murder old people.

What about the multi-pronged land-grab, minerals theft?
Stealing land for climate action while saying “go woke, go broke” … is an attempt to push down the value of assets / property … and make the theft look like an innocent business deal … this a key part of the racket.
There is the cover up of clean technology in the name of “national security” ….even though climate change is making us soooo insecure.
Another huge racket in plain sight: Will allowing climate change when one knows how dangerous that is … ultimately be seen as murder?
A massive racket, indeed.

Here’s a concise summary of the most important provisions of the US RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations) Act (18 U.S.C. §§ 1961-1968):
- Targets “Enterprises”: Applies to any ongoing group (legal or illegal, formal or informal) whose activities affect interstate/foreign commerce.
- Requires a “Pattern of Racketeering Activity”: Defined as at least two related criminal acts (predicate acts) occurring within ten years of each other, demonstrating continuity or threat of continued criminal activity.
- Defines “Racketeering Activity”: An extensive list of state or federal crimes (predicate acts), including murder, kidnapping, gambling, arson, robbery, bribery, extortion, money laundering, fraud, drug trafficking, and counterfeiting.
- Prohibited Activities (Section 1962):
- (a) Investing income derived from a pattern of racketeering into an enterprise.
- (b) Acquiring or maintaining control of an enterprise through a pattern of racketeering.
- (c) Conducting or participating in the affairs of an enterprise through a pattern of racketeering (the most commonly charged provision).
- (d) Conspiring to commit any of the above offenses.
- Severe Criminal Penalties: Up to 20 years imprisonment per RICO count (can be consecutive), substantial fines, and mandatory forfeiture of any interest or proceeds gained from the racketeering activity.
- Civil Suits & Treble Damages: Allows private individuals/businesses harmed by RICO violations to sue in civil court for triple (treble) damages plus attorneys’ fees and costs. This is a powerful incentive for victims.
- Conspiracy Liability: Engaging in a conspiracy to violate RICO is itself a separate RICO offense, making it easier to charge multiple participants in a criminal enterprise.
- Extended Statute of Limitations: Provides a 5-year statute of limitations for civil actions (from discovery of injury) and criminal prosecutions (with tolling provisions).
