May 31-June 1, 2025 — Trust in media is plunging.

Ukraine v Gaza coverage is a key example —- biased toward the west.

Says Sangita Myska at the Media Democracy conference in London May 31, 2025.

Myska was removed from her hosting role with LBC in spring 2024 directly after a tense interview with Israeli government spokesperson Avi Hyman, who called her questions “outrageous” multiple times.

BBC News meetings in the morning take a steer from the billionaire press….she said.

So the billionaire press sets the agenda at the supposedly independent BBC, too.
