“The irony is, when we first heard about the Institute of Academic Excellence we thought it was a great idea. We saw a real opportunity for partnership. The Club has delivered services on behalf of the council for most of the last sixty years. The idea of opening extra sessions to train those students – a healthy mind in a healthy body – we were delighted. We’re an asset to the community and the Council just can’t seem to see it.”
