Fickle, Cowardly Goldman Sachs Pulls Out of Net-Zero Banking Alliance Ahead of Trump’s Second Presidency: CarrZee (1)

Reuters: LONDON, Dec 6 (Reuters) – Goldman Sachs (GS.N), opens new tab said it has quit a sector coalition aimed at aligning bank lending and investment activities with global efforts to fight climate change, becoming the most high-profile member to leave the group.

The U.S. investment bank’s decision comes against a backdrop of pressure from some Republican politicians who have suggested that membership of the Net-Zero Banking Alliance (NZBA) could breach anti-trust rules.

CarrZee: Goldman apparently didn’t give a reason for its move (yet).

I note it’s all too happy to play in the rigged market for crude oil … where many countries effectively steal crude from their own people and don’t reward or compensate taxpayers adequately for the huge profits made killing the world’s existing climate.

Why are you pulling out?

Goldman is not the only one:

Let’s see if Bloomberg calls Goldman, one of its biggest customers, “cowardly,” too!
