Another stupid mainstream media rant promoting warmongering.
Telegraph’s conclusion:
There has already been talk of Poland and Germany taking a lead role in setting up a new alliance of “framework nations” to oversee Europe’s military contributions, and Britain, given its staunch support for Ukraine, is equally qualified for such a role.
To do so, though, Britain must first determine its own military priorities, which will not now happen for at least a year thanks to the Starmer government’s procrastination.
In the absence of Starmer’s government taking responsibility for our defence, the prospect of Trump returning to the White House might be just the seismic event the country needs to shake it from the complacent torpor that currently seems to define our approach to national security.
CarrZee: But the world is no longer in the 20th century…so 2% of GDP will be plenty to provide security.
UK taxpayers are sick of owing Trump’s mafia-like fees for security to the American protection mafia…the military-industrial-intelligence-media complex.
Climate change is the biggest threat to world peace.
