Timing of Assange’s freedom & route near ‘suicide cliff’ signals US may finally be shifting away from war (2)

June 28, 2024 — That whistleblower Julian Assange negotiated to travel home to freedom in Australia via the site of one of the bloodiest battles of the second world war … signals the USA might be giving up on the brutal era of its multi-decade imperialism project.

Suicide Cliff is a cliff above Marpi Point Field near the northern tip of SaipanNorthern Mariana Islands [now a territory of the USA], which achieved historic significance late in World War II. (Wikipedia)

Assange gained his freedom near here two days ago in an American district court.

Also known as Laderan Banadero, it is a location where Japanese civilians and Imperial Japanese Army soldiers took their own lives by jumping to their deaths in July 1944 in order to avoid capture by the United States.

Propaganda

Japanese propaganda had emphasized brutal American treatment of Japanese, citing the American mutilation of Japanese war dead and claiming U.S. soldiers were bloodthirsty and without morals. (Wikipedia)

July 7-9

If you are into symbolism, this story is for you.

The brutal battle for Saipan came to a head on July 7-9 of 1944 –the dates of the now-abandoned 2024 court hearings in the UK…and a few days after the UK parliamentary elections on July 4.

Around 1,000 civilians committed suicide during the final days of the battle for Saipan,[287] some after 9 July when the island had been declared secure.[288] Many died by throwing themselves off cliffs at places that would become known as “Suicide Cliff” and “Banzai Cliff“.[289] (Wikipedia)

After watching segments of last night’s Presidential debate in the US, it seems Joe biden’s the one who’s now committing suicide.

Japan is probably involved in Assange’s release, because the country’s emperor — a God-like figure in that country — was visiting Britain as it happened.

Indeed, he apparently notified his ancestors at a sun-god shrine of his intention to travel to Britain.

This is a spiritual war that the world is engaged in…and I remain hopeful the good entities are finally winning.

Like Japan-born London resident Chiho Sharp, who attended a dinner this week in London with the Japanese sovereign, I’m also hoping for a little more justice and equality in the world.
