London Worried it May Miss Out to Silicon Valley, France as Fintech to Multiply by Six to $1.5 Trillion by 2030 (1)

March 19-20, 2024 — City of London Corporation aldermen were told Silicon Valley and France was threatening the city’s leadership in Fintech, where revenues are set to surge to $1.5 trillion from $245 billion in the 10 years through 2030.

That’s compound annual growth rate of 22% in the period, according to analysis by Augmentum, presented at this Tuesday’s meeting at Guildhall. It cited figures by Boston Consulting Group (plus QED investors).

Climatetech has overtaken fintech, the meeting heard.
