UK appeal court wants to extend Mathew Carr vs Bloomberg LP climate dispute over £10,000 costs until well into 2024

Yes you are reading it right. Bloomberg LP, one of the richest corporations on earth, seems to still want £10,000 of my money, to pay some of the costs of litigation after I objected after I was fired in 2020 for blowing the whistle on bad climate news coverage (I contend).

Employment-law cases in Britain are hardly ever paid for by the losing party.

Could it be that Bloomberg wants to avoid scrutiny?
