If only the US cared as much about all lives on earth

Reading about the Maui wildfires made me think how much is a life worth?

The US looks after its own, but what about its responsibility for the millions of other deaths each year around the world related to its reckless fossil-fuel pollution?

A fifth of heat-trapping gas produced by 4% of the global population does not feel right. And it’s mainly the richest causing the crisis.

If only the USA cares as much about the bigger picture as it does about these 2000 cases.

Greed is getting in the way of what’s important.
