Growing up in Australia…flies were annoying in summer, they would swarm and rest on my back to feast on my sweaty shirt.

And everyone else’s shirt.

Now I have three flies tracking me inside at the place I’m staying in Kent, England.

Does anyone know why?

I can think of one possible reason. Sheltering from cooling temperatures outside. It is 7c outside now (45f). Near midnight.

It’s not because I haven’t showered. I have.
