Yet another opinion story that’s ignorant about the USA’s responsibility for the global climate crisis and ignores the Paris carbon budget: Fox

“The highly marketed and short-lived gas [gasoline] price reprieve did little to alleviate financial woes for Americans this summer.

“Now, that reprieve is officially over and the international oil cartel, OPEC+, has announced deep production cuts of 2 million barrels per day.

“Leaked talking points revealed that the White House views this action as a “total disaster,” which is accurate. What Team Biden won’t admit is that it’s one of their own making.”

CarrZee: This story like so many others assumes the USA can just boost fossil-fuel production. But it’s already used more than its fair share of the global carbon budget, so it can’t.
