Fake democracy: Trump’s G20 adopts one of Michael Bloomberg’s favorite lies that unveils America’s uniparty (3)

Opinion by Mathew Carr

This (see pic below) is further circumstantial proof the USA has a uniparty in charge — the Republicans and Democrats are working together — they are in cahoots — in the interests of the billionaires, the biggest companies and banks …and against the interests of the world’s people (and even American folks).

Here is the importance/background/context

Will the biggest countries, the G20, gang up on the rest of the world under Mr Trump? This is already happening, just like huge companies are making it difficult for small and medium businesses.

Trump is famously restricting people from 75 nations from migrating to the US and has travel limits on 39 countries.

Steering of the G20 rotates among members. The US has the overseeing role from Dec. 1 last year to Nov. 30, 2026.

Bullying America has been playing the victim for decades, when it’s arguably the biggest perpetrator of corrupt market power.

It, under Mr Trump, would rarely even worry about what is “best” for the average person, even less if they live in a poor country, like Somalia.

Billionaire Bloomberg ran as a Democrat against Mr Biden (and billionaire Mr Trump) in the 2020 presidential election. So while billionaire Trump and billionaire Bloomberg are outwardly rivals, they both seem to care mostly about stoking American dominance.

I worked for Mr Bloomberg for 20 years and he was constantly saying “the best is yet to come”…the world has been getting worse ever since, arguably — inequality on the rise, climate and nature in grave risk, inflation running rampant (which helps companies not humans), violence and warmongering increasing.

Arguably, the best is in the past … unless you are a billionaire or millionaire. Especially if you are a poor person or animal.

Even some Republicans have been calling out the political uniparty corruption in the US for years…including Thomas Massie.

Recent lawmaking has made things worse

Money printing encourages inflation, hurts humans

Will it be different in the future? Is the best is yet to come even possible as Bloomberg’s AI-and-fossil-fuel-obsessed news coverage carries on and on and on …and on?

I’m not completely ruling improvement out …but the past five years, especially, have not indicated that.

It’s still possible the worst is yet to come and billionaires want us to be fearful and think that …because that strategy has worked so well … to erode our human rights.

Scroll down for the conclusion.

Where “Mini Mike” Bloomberg called out Mr Trump (there are probably other examples missed here) to follow: ChatGPT (unchecked …beware hallucinations)

Here’s a documented, sourced list of public quotes and remarks where Michael Bloomberg has called out Donald Trump — mainly in speeches, interviews, campaign messaging and social media — spanning about the past 10+ years. (Note: precise counts are challenging because Bloomberg’s criticisms appear in many speeches/interviews and advertising.) But below are verifiable direct quotes and contexts with sources.

🗓 1. July 27, 2016 – Democratic National Convention (DNC)

At the 2016 Democratic National Convention, Bloomberg delivered a major speech endorsing Hillary Clinton and sharply criticizing Donald Trump’s suitability for president:

What he said:

“I’m a New Yorker, and New Yorkers know a con when we see one.” — Bloomberg said of Trump’s candidacy.  He described Trump’s business record as a “disaster in the making.”  “Trump is a risky, reckless, and radical choice. And we can’t afford to make that choice.”  He contrasted Trump’s track record with what he saw as Clinton’s qualifications.

He framed Trump as a dangerous demagogue who lacked the temperament and experience for the presidency.

🗓 2. January 2019 (Pre-2020 campaign season)

In early statements as he eyed a presidential run — and began taking aim at Trump before formally entering the 2020 race:

What he said:

Bloomberg suggested that Trump had failed both at business and at governing, calling him “totally incompetent” and a pretend CEO.

🗓 3. 2020 Presidential Campaign – Tweets & Social Media

After entering the Democratic primary to oppose Trump, Bloomberg sharpened his rhetoric, including on Twitter:

What he said:

On Twitter, Bloomberg wrote that people in Trump’s circles “call you a carnival barking clown” — a play on Trump’s reputation and persona.  In campaign-era social comments, he wrote that Trump was the world’s biggest schoolyard bully with no respect for civility, decency, facts, or honesty.

These came in response to ongoing Twitter exchanges where Trump mocked Bloomberg (e.g., calling him a loser and other nicknames) and Bloomberg fired back.

🗓 4. 2020 – Campaign Messaging & Ads

During his 2020 run, Bloomberg’s campaign ads frequently attacked Trump’s fitness for office and competence:

What they emphasized:

Ads used language portraying Trump as unfit, a bully, unhinged, a con man, and crazy, often as part of digital advertising against Trump’s record.

These ads, while not always direct quotes from Bloomberg himself, reflect his campaign’s messaging strategy.

📌 Notable Contexts Where Bloomberg Criticized Trump

❗ Contrast with earlier comments

Before Trump became a major political figure, Bloomberg at times spoke positively about him in social settings — for example, calling him “a great guy” in earlier public comments decades prior, but this was before their political rivalry.

❗ Broad critiques beyond exact quotes

Beyond the specific lines above, Bloomberg framed Trump’s leadership style as dangerous, divisive, reckless, and incompetent — whether in speeches, interviews, debates, or ads — especially during and after the 2016 and 2020 campaign cycles.

A well resourced guy like Mr Bloomberg can do much better and call out Mr Trump’s bad behavior without hurting his (Bloomberg’s) multiple, conflicted businesses.

Unless they are parts of a uniparty, that is.
