CarrZee: Mr Trump is ignoring the climate crisis, again….as he says there’ll be heaps of investment in Venezuelan oil over the next few years.

This, at least, fits with climate justice and fair carbon budgets — better than further USA expansion in crude output.

Im surprised the March 2026 contract initially fell and is not very volatile.

That indicates some in the oil market are benign or even positive that America’s kidnapping of the Venezuelan leader might actually push the world toward peace and collaboration. Maybe.

If the world is going to get a global policeman, surely the contract should at least be put out to tender. Doesn’t seem like it should be a self-appointed role.
