Denmark has the right idea — rich countries should get out of fossil fuels.

But even that rich country is not explaining the rationale very well.

With about 600 billion tons remaining in the global carbon budget … only poorer countries that have not yet had a fair go should be able to exploit new fossil fuel reserves.

It’s simple to say — though few seem to be saying it. Not so simple to do.
